Big Bend Auto Center was born of the concept where one person and a passion for all things automotive ignites and combusts, with the community and individual customer’s cars.
It’s literally the small-town dream adapted to the big city: locally-owned, employing people from here, and serving customers who live in the same area we have the business. For us, we feel as lucky as we can get.

Literally. It’s our passion. When the shop closes up, the subject of conversation is always about cars, trucks, engines and transmissions. New type of tire? We’re all over it. Synthetic vs. conventional oil? A regular topic of debate at lunchtime. We’re proud of our automotive passion. And our customers tell us it shows in our work.

Mike Glantz
Owner and Educated Car Enthusiast
Mike Glantz of Big Bend Auto Center holds an associate in arts degree in automotive technology. He has over 25 years of experience in auto repair and maintenance. Because computers are now and integral part of all aspects of cars, trucks, and vans, he has additional training in the latest diagnostic equipment including thermal imaging, diagnostic scanners, oscilloscopes, and much more. This education emphasis is embedded throughout the rest of the organization as well, with all employees receiving ongoing training.
