With the cost of a new vehicle, maintenance has become very important in the continued operation of your vehicle. We use the manufacturer recommended maintenance schedules for preventative maintenance.

Service or Inspect :

• Verify last major service was performed
• Check fluid levels and fluid condition
• Inspect coolant level, hoses and belts
• Check coolant strength
• Check exhaust system and heat shielding
• Clean battery and battery terminals
• Inspect/adjust accessory drive belts (Replace if necessary)
• Inspect emission control vacuum hoses and connections
• Inspect distributor cap and rotor (3.0L)
• Inspect spark plug wires
• Inspect egr valve and hoses (if equipped)
• Inspect pcv valve and hoses
• Check ignition timing
• Inspect fuel/tank/cap/lines
• Check operation of horn, all exterior lighting
• Inspect condition and operation of wiper blades and washers
• Check headlamp alignment
• Check body drain holes
• Check seat belt webbing and release mechanisms
• Check parking brake operation
• Check shift interlock operation
• Lubricate weather stripping with silicone
• Lubricate door hinges
• Lubricate door locks
• Check steering rack and pinion protective boots
• Check axle c/v boots
• Inspect and lubricate steering linkage and front suspension
• Lubricate chassis, including bushings, springs, arms and rear bounce bumpers
• Inspect shocks/struts for leakage
• Inspect tire wear pattern
• Rotate tires and adjust air pressure (including spare)
